Sending Cellphone Pics of Scrubs to the Wife

My wife usually uses my old t-shirts when it comes to sleep attire. As you can imagine, this means that I run out of my own undershirts pretty quickly. She doesn’t like jammies, so I thought I’d get her a set of hospital scrubs to try out – she was all for it.

I pocketed my trusty Nokia cellphone in case I had to make any quick calls to the wifey or MMS a picture of a scrub back to her, then I headed to the nearby medical uniform store. Low and behold, there were so many scrubs to choose from. Black ones, brown ones, white ones, green ones and of course blue ones. I decided to take some pics and send them over to the wifey for feedback. So, I pulled out my camera phone, took some shots and texted them home.

Almost instantly she texted back with the message, Check out http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Women/Original-Scrubs/ – the prices are so much cheaper and you get the same stuff!

I did a little price-checking of my own, online. I love these little mobile devices. I remember back in the day when mobile phones were the size of car batteries – no longer. Anyway, I had to of course re-use the ever popular phrase, “you’re right.” My wife loves it when I say that. The moral of the story: shop online first and never ask the wife for advice via text message!

Bro knew best

Thanks for the guest post by Donn Schroeder

My brother was telling me about this site called www.home-ALARM-SYSTEMS.com and I really didn’t think anything of it, that is, until our house was burglarized a few months ago. It was the first time anything like that had ever happened to me and I felt so… exposed and vulnerable, not good feelings for a father of three to have. I immediately found an alarm system that made sense for our house and I feel much better about the whole situation, although my wife is still pretty shaken up from the last incident. My brother is helping me install a fence in the backyard which is going to make everyone feel better but it’s really scary when something like this happens. You think your neighborhood is just too safe until it happens to you, so my advice to all the readers out there is to take the precautions now instead of waiting for something bad to happen like I did. You’ll feel better about it in the long run and have more peace of mind.
